CalcWisee started with a simple idea: reliable calculation tools should be available to everyone, not locked behind paywalls or buried in complicated software. CalcWisee was founded by Ayman as an independent project, and accuracy is the standard every tool is held to.
Every day, people face small calculations — a mortgage payment, a unit conversion, a biology assignment, a recipe adjustment — and too often the tools they reach for are either expensive, confusing, or simply wrong. We built CalcWisee to be the opposite: free, friendly, and accurate enough to trust.
Our vision is straightforward. We want a single place where anyone can open a browser, find the right tool, and get a trustworthy answer in seconds. No sign-up walls. No trial limits. No “upgrade to see the result.” Just the calculation you came for, explained clearly.
Why we built CalcWisee
We kept running into the same problem. Free calculators online were often outdated, ad-heavy, or gave different answers depending on where you looked. Paid tools worked, but not everyone can justify a subscription for a quick conversion.
So we set out to build one place where a student, a professional, a researcher, or just someone curious could find the right tool and get a dependable answer. Free, accurate, and accessible to everyone — that was the goal from day one, and it still is.

Who builds and checks the calculators
CalcWisee is run independently by its founder, Ayman. You can reach him directly at ayman@calcwisee.com with corrections, questions, or requests for new calculators.
Each calculator starts from a published formula or an official definition — for example the Mifflin-St Jeor equation for metabolic rate, the 2021 CKD-EPI equation for kidney function, or the NIST and SI definitions for unit conversions. The formula and its source are shown on the calculator page so you can check the method yourself.
Before a calculator is published it is tested against worked examples calculated by hand, and the worked example on each page uses the same inputs, so you can reproduce it. When a reader reports a problem, the calculator is checked against the source and corrected, and the change is recorded in line with our corrections policy.
