CalcWisee uses a small number of cookies and similar technologies to operate the site, keep it free through advertising, and understand how it is used. This policy explains what we use, why, and the control you have.

Your calculator inputs are never stored or sent anywhere. All calculations run locally in your browser. Cookies are used only for the purposes described below.

Consent banner

On your first visit to CalcWisee, a cookie consent banner appears at the bottom of the page. You can choose to Accept or Reject advertising and analytics cookies. Your choice is stored on your device and remembered on future visits. You can change your choice at any time by clicking the “Cookie settings” link in the website footer.

We use Google Consent Mode v2 to communicate your choice to Google. Until you accept, advertising and analytics cookies are blocked by default. If you reject, only essential cookies are used and no personalized ads or analytics tracking occur.

Types of cookies we use

Essential cookies

Required for basic site functionality, such as remembering your light/dark mode preference and your cookie consent choice. These cannot be disabled, as the site would not function correctly without them.

Analytics cookies (Google Analytics)

If you accept, Google Analytics collects anonymous, aggregated usage data — which pages are popular, how visitors find us, and what devices they use — so we can improve calculators and content. This data is not used to identify you personally. See Google’s privacy policy for details.

Advertising cookies (Google AdSense)

If you accept, our advertising partner Google AdSense may use cookies to serve and measure ads and, where permitted, to show ads based on your interests and prior visits to this and other websites. You can opt out of personalized advertising at any time through Google Ads Settings or the Digital Advertising Alliance opt-out page. Opting out does not remove ads — it makes them less targeted.

Google AdSense and Google Analytics set their own cookies when enabled. We do not control these third-party cookies and their use is governed by Google’s advertising policy and privacy policy. As required by the IAB, we publish an ads.txt file at https://calcwisee.com/ads.txt authorizing Google as an ad seller.
