About the Inches Calculator
The inches calculator adds or subtracts a list of inch measurements and shows the total as decimal inches, the nearest fraction down to 1/64 in, feet and centimetres. It is built for workshop use, where measurements are often a mix of whole inches and fractions and adding them by hand invites mistakes.
How to use it

- 2Enter each inch value in its own field; add more fields as needed.
- 3Read the total as a fraction, in feet and in centimetres.

Worked example
12 + 5.5 + 3.25 inches = 20.75 inches, which is 20 3/4 in, 1 ft 8 3/4 in or 52.71 cm.
How it works
