About the Burpee Calorie Calculator
The burpee calorie calculator estimates energy burned from your weight, workout time and intensity, using MET values of 7 (light), 10 (moderate) and 13 (vigorous). Calories = MET × body weight (kg) × hours. Burpees combine a squat, plank and jump, so they are one of the most demanding body-weight exercises per minute.
How to use it
- 1Enter your weight in kilograms.
- 2Enter the duration in minutes.
- 3Choose the intensity and press Calculate.
Worked example
a 70 kg person doing 30 minutes of moderate burpees burns about 10 × 70 × 0.5 = 350 kcal.
How it works
Formula
Calories = MET × Weight (kg) × Duration (hours). Burpee MET: Light=7, Moderate=10, Vigorous=13.
Common use cases
- Planning HIIT workouts
- Logging exercise
- Comparing body-weight exercises
